1. Heat Sealing (Most Common Method)
Heat sealing uses controlled heat and pressure to melt the inner layer of the pouch material (e.g., PET/PE or aluminum composites) and fuse the layers together.
2. Ultrasonic Sealing (For Specialized Materials)
Ultrasonic sealing uses high-frequency vibrations to create friction heat, bonding materials without external heat. Suitable for materials like aluminum foil or multi-layer composites.
Width (Gusset Width): Measure the bottom width of the pouch when laid flat. For gusseted pouches, this includes the folded side panels (channels) that allow the pouch to stand.
Height: Measure from the bottom edge to the top seal or zipper closure.
Depth/Thickness: Measure the side gusset when expanded, which determines the pouch's capacity (critical for product filling).
